How Much you love your family?
What would you do to protect them?
The story with Darcy and Jamee her little sister, they live with their mom who is always working in the ER and their grandmother; whom recently had a stroke. Darcy is the oldest, she goes to high school she is the smartest girl in her class, she has perfect grades. She is so confused, because of all the problems that are affecting her life at the same time. When you are a teen everything seems more difficult and almost impossible to escape
Then she is partner with Tarah, who's seen some what dumn to Darcy at first, they are partners to work in their science project. At the beginning Darcy and Tarah have some issues. Darcy thinks that she is superior to any of her classmates. Tarah in the other hand thinks that Darcy is a know it all stuck up girl. I related to this part of the book because like Darcy I have been partner up with people I didn't know or I didn't like. Have you ever been in this type of situation?
They have a fight before even staring the project.The next day ,they work up some of their issues and they agree to go to a tidal pool, Tarah's boyfriend Copper can drive them there. In the Tidal pool Copper places a leech on Darcy's back, they argue and darcy ends up taking the bus back home. while I was reading this part of the book I remembered this one time when me and my friend had a fight and I ended up taking the bus back home too. 
How come things can go from bad to worst in a matter of minutes? Well for Darcy it went from a bad day to a horrible day, she fights with her project partnert, she has to take the bus home, and she notice that someone is follwing her in a silver toyota. Darcy was waiting for the bus, when she noticed that the silver toyota was the same she had seem at school, during recess. The man in the truck was wearing the same hat the man was getting of the truck when the the bus was getting close.
Once home Darcy was cleaning some dishes when she noticed through the window the same silver toyota park out side, she was scare, then her sister Jamee comes home with a black eye. When Darcy questions her, Jamee answers quickly that she had hit during cheerleading practice. she had almost forgotten about the truck, so she decided to called the police. When the police arrive they question the guy and he told them that it was Darcy's dad and the he only wanted to talk to them but he couldn't find the courage to do it. !What a day for Darcy!
In order to save a love it will trully have to be a really TRUE love, if that ever happended to me i will fight the true love that i feel for that person and if things don't come the way we wnted them to, i will jest give up, because probably theirs a reaosn there that diren't whant me to be together with that person.
ReplyDeleteWell, your summary doesn't say anything about saving a love one, but i suppose that to save a love one you won't know what to do until you're in that situation.
ReplyDeletei can relate to this when you say "all the problems that are affecting her life at the same time" because i had times like this when i was a sohpmore
ReplyDeleteThis seems an interesting book. This books reminds me becuase as the protagonist i had to work in partners in a project with someone i didnt like. I also think that no matter how much you respect your dad, its not right for him to hit you and be silence with out saying anything.
